ABOUT US

The Ipic Properties Group (“Ipic”) invests directly and indirectly in income-producing property on a long-term basis. We own and manage 8 Shopping Centres and various other properties in the Western Cape, South Africa, as well as a small selection of listed shares for the benefit of our shareholders.

Ipic provides premises to a wide range of retail and commercial tenants ranging from national brands to small “mom and pop” shops as well as entrepreneurial start-ups. We have 269 premises in 9 properties covering a total area of 60 581m2. Of the 269 premises, 178 are shops and the balance are offices, ATM’s and store rooms. Our small residential portfolio is dependent on supply and demand in the market.

Our tenants are the lifeblood of our properties. We are proud of the well-known brands that attract the majority of the customers to our Shopping Centres. Due to their high profile and customer traffic levels (more than 8.8 million visits per year at the eight centres), these shopping centres have become extremely attractive to top South African national and regional retail chains. Some of these, in no particular order of priority, include Pick n Pay shopping, clothing and liquor stores, Superspar, tops!, Woolworths, Wimpy, Steers, Spur, Patio Warehouse, KFC, Ipic Active, Ipic Play, ABSA, Post office, Perfect Health, Bossa, Clicks, Knead, Baby City etc.

On 8 August 2019, Ipic Group celebrated 15 years of excellence in property management, also launching the Ipic Help Foundation in pursuit of its obligations to Charity and its goal to be a continual catalyst between donors and beneficiaries, by giving back to society and re-investing its wealth to compound positive change.

The Group’s employees work towards a common target: compounding wealth through growth in Net Operating Income.
